Dorset County Hospital

Drop off spaces outside the maternity entrance have a maximum 20 minutes stay.

Dorset County Hospital has onsite parking and is signposted as your turn into the site. Due to the current ongoing construction works at the hospital, the site is extremely busy. Please consider this when planning your travel to the hospital.

Parking for disabled page holders is free (subject to a maximum 12-hour stay) and spaces are located close to all hospital entrances.

There are two electric car charging points onsite located near to the East Wing Entrance.

Free road parking is available in some of the surrounding streets for a limited time period.

Poole Hospital

  • There are two small car parks available, one located at the St Marys Maternity Unit site, the other adjacent to the junction of Shaftesbury and St Marys roads. Tickets for these car parks must be purchased (cash only) and displayed clearly in the windscreen.
  • A multi-storey car park is situated on the main hospital site, the entrance to which is on Longfleet Road (a covered walkway from the car park (level G) leads to the main hospital). Extra wide spaces for wheelchair users are available in the multi-storey car park on levels C and G.
  • A small number of bays are also available by Entrance North and the Main Entrance to the hospital for dropping off and picking up patients.
